san diego wedding hair

Hello all!  I've been meaning to do another hairstyling pictorial and I finally got around to it!  I decided to do a loose, romantic, bohemian style updo.  I hope these steps are easy to follow.  If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Stay beautiful! xoxox

Here's the step by step for this bohemian updo!
1) section the hair from behind ears, and push forward until later. Tease the hair in the crown area for some volume, gather, and pin
2) section the hair in the back in to two sections and braid each section. Pull apart the braids slightly to make them appear fuller
3) gather the braids in to a bun and pin
4) curl the hair in the front sections in order to create texture ...
5) start bringing sections back towards the bun and pin in place
6) after everything is pinned back, take the "tails" of these sections, twist, and pin in to place
7) pin any flyaway pieces and spray with hair spray

5 minute party bun tutorial!

The holiday season can be a hectic time.  With parties to attend and shopping to do, it can be hard to find time to look your best!  With this tutorial, take your everyday bun from drab to fab in 5 minutes!! It's easy to do and looks put together without any effort!  Dress it up a bit by adding a fun broche or hair accessory on the side of the bun!

Stay beautiful and happy holidays!

1)Tease the hair at the top of your head from the hairline back

2)Put your hair in a ponytail and gently pull up pieces to create the look of more volume

3)Slightly tease the front of the ponytail

4) loosely wrap the hair around your ponytail, using a bobby pin to secure at the base.  Repeat this around the whole bun

5) Pull out small pieces at your ears and temples to create a more loose look

6) Spray with hairspray and pull up more pieces if need be

7) Finished look!

Music Video!
